Fees for Licensed Private Investigator Services
Prices vary according to the type of service rendered. However, you'll find that the prices are reasonable and competitive. Keep in mind what you are paying for -- not only for a licensed Private Investigator to perform a valuable investigative service for you, but also for preparing the results in a final work product that will detail the tasks performed; the time expended; any expenses incurred, etc. This may include photos and video images. Remember that depending upon your investigative matter, the licensed P.I. may have to testify in court as to actions taken. You want someone who will be a credible witness for your case.
There are some tasks, such as many surveillances, that generally require more than one investigator to perform the job properly. Should there be a need to obtain the professional services of other licensed Private Investigators, you would be advised beforehand and you can be assured that the people chosen to assist are extremely well qualified, have a current P.I. license and will likely include other retired FBI Agents and retired police officers.
Generally, there will be a written contract for the services that will be provided to you. You will usually have to pay some money up front - commonly referred to as a retainer, before any services will be conducted for you.
